SUNSHINE PLACE
Sunshine Place started as a vision of a small group of citizens in 2001. Established in 2007, Sunshine Place has become a single point of access to social services for Sun Prairie residents in times of need.
The purpose of Sunshine Place is to direct and administer the operation of a facility to house multiple charitable organizations providing social services needs to include but not be limited to food and clothing necessities in a manner that provides a single point of access to these services for the Sun Prairie community.
Sunshine Place was awarded a gift of $98,000 from 100 Men of Dan County to to further their impact helping children and families. Support from 100 Men of Dane County will enable Sunshine Place to make a fundamental shift from raising funds for crisis and disaster relief to sustained support for improved client experience and program outreach laser-focused on children and families in need.
