THE ROAD HOME DANE COUNTY
The Road Home Dane County was awarded the 4th Quarter 2019 grant of $103,000 to further their phenomenal work in helping children in our community. These funds will support the case management team at The Road Home Dane County as they work with children in our community who have experienced homelessness. The effects of homelessness on children are significant. In 2018, The Road Home served 175 families that included 407 children. Of the 407 children, 40% were under the age of 5. Their team works to help families with children overcome the trauma of homelessness and thrive.
They work with families, not only to relieve the immediate crisis of homelessness, but also to build skills, resources and relationships that set the stage for long-term success.

To accomplish their mission, they rely on the help and support of individuals, congregations and businesses throughout Dane County. They believe that for the greater good of our city and for human kind, they can and should join together to make a difference because every child deserves a home.
